It was not the twelve inches the kids had hoped for but we can work with this six to eight. And the good news is, we should be getting another four to six on top of this by tomorrow morning. I have an igloo in my backyard and the sledding/snowboarding ramp is in top form.
Finally, finally it is feeling like winter around here.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy the snow. We got ours last week and the last of it melted away today in the 40 degree weather. What luck! I move from the East Coast and my first chance for a white Christmas ends in wet mush. Maybe next year.
Oh, and for the record, hurricanes are VERY entertaining. In the horror movie on a late night, all by yourself, and the power goes out in the middle of it kind of way.
I know. I've lived through too many of them.
